Remarkable Ute Muster
Saturday 19 April 2008
On Saturday, the serious and not-so-serious business of ute mustering begins. Be entertained all day by live and local musical talent on the big stage and stall holders set up around the Showgrounds.
Competition Categories
Entry is $20 for the first category which includes automatic entry into “Most Remarkable Ute”. $10 for ONE additional category. Download your entry form here.
Chicks Ute
A ute with a female owner, well presented, showing a special 'Female Touch.' Must provide registration evidence of the owner.
B&S Ute
Plastered with stickers, multiple aerials, biggest possible bullbar and rollbar, mudflaps, loudest exhaust known to man and enough lights to turn the darkest road into day time.
Country Ute
A cross between the Rowdy and Loud ute and the street ute. Neat and tidy, accessories can include a bullbar or nudge bar, a rollbar and stoneguards, it's not as wild as a B & S ute but still turns plenty of heads in the city.
Street Ute
New or old, as slick as it gets, lowered, body kit, big mags, loud stereo, well suited to cruising city streets.
4WD Ute
Any vehicle with constant or part time 4WD, well suited and accessorised for tackling the rough terrain.
Original/Restored Ute
The older the better! A minimum of 25 years old, restored to original (or better!) condition, can have customised modifications.
The John O’Dea “OLD RUSTY UTE”
The most dilapidated, dirty, bent up ute possible. It's spent its entire life sitting under a gum tree and been dragged out for this special occasion. Must be able to start.
Remarkable Ute
GRAND CHAMPION UTE. Judges’ award for the best ute present on the day. Can be selected from any category.
