What could be more Australian than spending a few days enjoying a stunning creek bed setting complete with a remarkable mountain backdrop, listening to a dynamic blend of rock, folk and country music, celebrating the Australian bush in one of our most picturesque places—Melrose, South Australia?

“Rock the Mount @ Melrose” headlined by an all-star concert on the Saturday night is a full weekend of entertainment. Kicking off with live music and market stalls in Melrose’s picturesque main street on Friday night (April 16th), there’s plenty of action and excitement for all.

The Festival Breakfast Show is the perfect way to start off your Saturday morning, and will be a hit with all ages. You will kick off the day with some country style bacon and eggs, a cup of tea or coffee and a few hours of great entertainment for all the family to enjoy.

At midday on Saturday 16th, the serious and not so serious business of ute mustering gets underway for the fiercely contested Remarkable Ute Muster. With live entertainment and attracting utes of all categories, this is the perfect lead in to a sensational night of music

Then after a full day of entertainment in and around the village of Melrose, and maybe a quick afternoon siesta at your campsite, you will be ready for an explosion of the best talent in Australia in a concert under the stars. South Australia’s Queen of Country Music, the sensational Beccy Cole will be headlining this years Rock The Mount @Melrose concert. Beccy’s good mate and touring pal, the multi – awarded Adam Harvey will also perform with his band featuring the cream of our country music musicians.

For an extra special musical and historical treat this years concert will also feature one of pop music’s true icons, an international superstar who is celebrating his 40th year in show business, the amazing and unique energy of Mr. Leo Sayer will light up Melrose Showground. Leo will be performing with his big band featuring a horn section and will be singing all of the hits that have made him a true living legend of popular music.

To complete the concert line-up will be 3 future superstars whom are all creating national attention with their music and extraordinary talents. They are Australian Idol runner-up Luke Dickens, the beautiful chart topping Amber Lawrence who continues to win awards all over Australia and the amazingly talented Victoria Baillie whose recent videos on CMC have gained her a solid national audience.
